CMA suspects that one of the reasons for Microsoft’s Call of Duty landing on multiple platforms is B Society.

The case of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard was recently deeply investigated by CMA regulators. Although Microsoft has repeatedly said that COD will continue to be released on multiple platforms, CMA still doubts its statement.

And one of the important reasons is ——Bethesda.

Before Microsoft acquired B Club, all its games were on multiple platforms. After Microsoft acquired B Club, the upcoming Starry Sky will be the exclusive work of Xbox. In addition, CMA also mentioned Obsidian Studio’s World2 and Oath.

However, it should be noted that Microsoft did not make any public promises when it acquired Bethesda. Microsoft also said last year that Bethesda’s games will be monopolized by the platform where Game Pass is located. Microsoft will also provide support for games that have signed agreements to log on to multiple platforms.

But even so, CMA still has some doubts about Microsoft’s statement that COD has landed on multiple platforms.
