  1. Hajia Railway

On September 30th, the Harbin-Jiamusi Railway officially opened for operation, ending the history that most areas along the route were closed to trains. The Hajia Railway starts from Harbin in the west, passes through Binxian County, Fangzheng County and Yilan County, and ends in Jiamusi City. The total length of the line is 344 kilometers and the design speed is 200 kilometers per hour. The fastest bus travel time between Harbin and Jiamusi will be shortened from 5 hours and 44 minutes to 2 hours and 3 minutes.

Style along the line: Mayihe Bridge (China Railway 11th Bureau)

  2. Tumushuk Airport in Xinjiang

Tumushuk Airport is a 4C-class regional airport in China, and Tumushuk City borders five Central Asian countries. It is an important city along the China-Kyrgyzstan-Ukraine Railway and the New Eurasian Continental Bridge. After the opening of the airport, the history of no navigation in the desert of southern Xinjiang in China came to an end, and the annual passenger throughput of 80,000 passengers and the annual cargo and mail throughput of 360 tons can be realized in a short time.

  3. Terminal T2 of Guilin Airport in Guangxi

The expansion project of T2 Terminal of Guilin Airport, with a construction area of about 100,000 square meters, will be an important national tourist airport after completion, which can meet the needs of annual take-off and landing of 101,200 sorties, annual passenger throughput of 12 million passengers and cargo and mail throughput of 95,000 tons.

The overlapping treatment of airport roof surfaces naturally forms a side skylight, which is similar in shape to the "Longji Terrace" scenic spot and the eaves of residential buildings in northern Guangxi. (China Construction Eighth Bureau)

  4. Zhejiang Yueqing Bay Bridge

On September 28th, China’s largest span variable cross-section segmental beam V pier rigid frame and the longest segmental beam prefabricated and assembled cross-sea bridge project — — Yueqing Bay Bridge in Zhejiang Province was officially opened to traffic.

When the bridge is completed and opened to traffic, it will realize the seamless connection between Ningbo Zhoushan Port, Taizhou Port and Wenzhou Port and the national high-speed network, and further build the coastal expressway in China. (China Communications First Bureau)

  5. Sanmenxia Highway-Railway Bridge

Menghua Railway is the world’s longest dedicated railway line for heavy-haul coal transportation, starting from Haole Baoji Station in Inner Mongolia in the north and ending at Ji ‘an City in Jiangxi Province. The main line is 1,814.5 kilometers long and the planned transportation capacity is over 200 million tons/year. At 10: 10 a.m. on October 1st, the steel truss girder of Sanmenxia Yellow River Highway-Railway Bridge on Menghua Railway was pushed up, and the closure was successfully realized, setting three world records of the longest pushing length, the heaviest pushing weight and the largest design live load, and three domestic new technology records for the first time.

The total length of the bridge is 5663.75 meters. The lower layer of the main bridge is a four-lane railway (Menghua and Yunsan are two-lane railways), and the upper layer is a two-way six-lane expressway with a width of 32 meters. The main bridge is a continuous steel truss beam, which is constructed by incremental launching method. (China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau)

  6. Hutong Yangtze River Bridge

On September 28th, on the occasion of the National Day Festival of the 69th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the main tower of the world’s tallest public railway bridge — — The main tower on the north side of Hutong Yangtze River Bridge was successfully capped. The overall construction of the main tower is as high as 330 meters, equivalent to a 110-story tall building, with 73,000 cubic meters of concrete pouring and 11,000 tons of steel bars, making it the largest in the world.

In order to meet the navigation demand of the main channel of the Yangtze River, the Hutong Yangtze River Bridge has a main span of 1,092 meters, which is the largest span cable-stayed bridge in China and has the trinity function of national railway, intercity railway and expressway.
